Position Summary:
Fox Digital Media (Scout Media) is seeking a Managing Editor to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of content integration of Premium Content Products (including the Scout Network) across FOX Sports Digital Properties. This role works with the SVP/GM to develop new editorial products by identifying opportunities for growth and driving subscriptions across the FOX Sports premium content network.  This role is based in Los Angeles, CA (Playa Vista).
 
Responsibilities:
·         Oversee the editorial team and work cooperatively with business partners to create new products to drive audience and subscription sales.
·         Responsible for providing guidance to editorial team on both day-to-day concerns and big-picture editorial vision.
·         Maintain relationships with top publishers in the Scout.com network and with other FOX Sports editorial staff and external partners.
·         Analyze successes and opportunities in traffic and other editorial work and set goals for the editorial team.
·         Liaison between Scout Publishers/Premium Content providers and FSI Editorial and Video teams to collaborate on the production and programming process for featured content, co-developing new content programs, proactive pitching and general advocacy for content to drive subscriptions.
·         Key editorial decision maker and editorial liaison for top-tier Scout Publishers/Premium Content providers. This position is the single point of contact for editorial support for Scout Publishers/Premium Content providers.
·         Proactively develop relationships with current and potential publishers.
·         Other projects and responsibilities as needed.
 
Requirements:
·        Bachelor's Degree
·        Proficiency in the English language
·        Previous experience in online content/editorial business is essential
·        MS Office, Photoshop, Strong editorial judgment
·        Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
