Highly versatile writer and editor, with extensive experience in fashion, beauty and the military. Have reported from war zones and covered leading international conventions of hair stylists.
I have worked in the industry for over twenty years, writing for publications large and small, national and local. During my time as a freelance journalist I have built up an impressive network of contacts in the fields of entertainment and current affairs.
I have worked in the U.S. for channels XBC and CSS. I was closely involved in a dotcom startup bringing broadband quality programming to a targetted youth audience. Working with four other journalists we put together the company from scratch, securing multi-million dollar investment from venture capitalists. The company is looking for new backers.
I write shorthand (150 wpm).

1992-2001: Freelance features writer for the International Neasden Gazette, Global Writes inc., Hair Today, the Sunday Tomes, Soldier of Misfortune, and Sparky.
1987-1992: Beauty Editor, The New Lad, Village Inc.
My responsibilities included researching beauty products (including skin & hair care, defoliators and tanning creams) for the new man.
1985-1987: Motoring correspondent, Brewers Gazette.

1983-1985: Health correspondent, the Sunday Record
Covered all health issues for this local paper. We gained several awards for our coverage of New Age treatments and the so called Third Way - a combination of homeopathy and recognised medical practices.
1990-1993: Sub Editor for Extraordinary Tails
This monthly magazine takes a look at developments (e.g. genetic modification, habitat depletion) in the animal world. The magazine was bought out in 1993 by the Whistler Group, and was relaunched as Fins n Tails.
